Nanokomposit
The basic idea of nano modification of UV varnishes involves the process of impressing polymerisation activities on surfaces of nanoscale non-organic particles so that they can be integrated as an additional networking centre into the polymer network during radiation curing.
During UV networking, a polyacrylate film is generated that, in contrast to a non-modified polyacrylate layer, displays a series of beneficial properties:
- Scratch and abrasion resistance
- High chemical resistance through increased diffusion resistance
- Improved soiling resistance
In terms of surface-mechanical properties, the effect of nanomodification could be clearly verified by means of standardized tests.
We offer the nano-modification of polymer protective coatings, which clearly stand out from alternative UV varnishes and are better applicable for very many areas.
